Tom Hardy made a surprise appearance at the jousting competition of the Loxwood Joust medieval festival in West Sussex, England. He donned armor and leapt into battle, which you can watch a video of below. I guess this is what Hardy is doing while the writers and actors are on strike in Hollywood!
Hardy shared on social media with a few photos: “This could have been today… A random day in the English countryside doing a round of the shops.” He added, “Not quite BJJ but not bad either,” referring to Brazilian jiu-jitsu, in which he has a purple belt. The actor previously made a surprise public appearance at the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Open Championship in Milton Keynes, in England, last year.
Loxwood Joust takes place annually in Billingshurst and is described as the “most spectacular and immersive jousting and medieval festival” where participants can step back in time to experience the verve and vigor of a world where lives were hard and hearts were filled with passion on this unique, fun and educational day out for the whole family.”
Once the strikes are over, Hardy will return to production Poison 3. Other projects she has worked on include the action thriller Ruinfrom The raid director Gareth EvansAND The bikerswhich also reads Austin Butler AND Jodie Comer.
