We have a new Christmas horror comedy that we can’t wait to watch with this year Santa werewolf! Yes, we’re making a movie about Santa turning into a werewolf and terrorizing a small town on Christmas Eve.
The film centers on “Santa Claus, who transforms into a werewolf on Christmas Eve and wreaks havoc in a small seaside town; with a local YouTuber setting out on an adventure to save Christmas from this new threat.”
You know, it was only a matter of time before that happened. If the movie is even somewhat successful, I think it’s fair to say that we’ll start seeing more low-budget movies like Vampire Santa and Zombie Santa.
Screen Daily reports that Werewolf Santa will be released theatrically in both the UK and North America in November 2023. The site also notes that “101 Films International has secured the international sales rights, excluding the UK and North America, for the horror comedy British Werewolf Santa. “
The film was written and directed by Airell Anthony Hayles (Midnight Peepshow, Spider Inside Her, They’re Outside) and start Mark Arnold, John BloomAND Emilia Booth.
