FX has released the first trailer for the fourteenth and final season of the spy animated series Archer. Looks like this fan-favorite animated series is going to end with a bang! The trailer teases fun humor and thrilling action that fans will enjoy. I was hoping this show would come out on a high note, and it looks like that’s what it will deliver.
Archer follows the adventures of self-absorbed secret agent Sterling Archer and his dysfunctional team at the International Secret Intelligence Service (ISIS). While the show initially focused on the spy genre, it has also explored different settings and themes and fans love its unique humor and witty dialogues.
In the upcoming season, “Archer and The Agency are finding their way with Lana at the helm. Her goal is to make money while making the world a better place, but she soon discovers that running a spy agency isn’t that simple.
The series features the voices of H. Jon Benjamin as the world’s greatest spy, Sterling Archer; Aisha Tyler as spy with marital problems, Lana Kane; Judy Greer as the crazy office assistant in search of a special ability, Cheryl/Carol Tunt; Chris Parnell as dependable company man, Cyril Figgis; Amber Nash as enthusiastic thug, Pam Poovey; Adam Reed as the opportunist, Ray Gillette; AND Lucky Yates such as the lead experimenter, Algernop Krieger. It also features season 14 Natalie Dew as the gang’s new super agent, Zara Khan.
Archer was created by Adam Reed and is executive producer of Matt Thompson, Casey Willis and co-executive produced by Marco Ganek at Floyd County Productions.
The latest season of Archer will premiere on FXX on August 30 at 10pm ET/PT. This will contain two episodes airing back-to-back for the premiere and will be available to stream on Hulu the following day.
