Reminiscent of the classic 80’s sitcom series ALF!? I loved watching that show when I was a kid and now, thanks to Ryan Reynolds’ Maximum Effort Channel, we’ll start seeing new ones ALF content! They are collaborating with the creator of the original series Paul Fusco also in Shour! Studios, which has acquired the distribution rights to ALF.
It is explained that they will be producing “sponsored content” which will be “interleaved into episodes of ALF for various companies including Mint Mobile, Fubo, Hims, MNTN, and Ring; dubbed “Maximum Moments,” this sponsored content will feature the titular ALF.
Reynolds said in a statement, “At Maximum Effort, we love to take risks and blur the lines between shows and endorsements because we believe both can be equally fun.”
Both episodes “Maximum Moments” and “ALF” can be viewed starting July 29 on Maximum Effort Channel, available to watch on Fubo, Amazon Freevee, LG Channels, Plex, Sling Freestream, Tubi, VIDAA, Vizio Watchfree+ and Xumo Play.
I’m curious to see what this ALF content turns out to be, but it will be fun and entertaining to see ALF in comedic action again.
