Chaosium recently released a new one-shot for Call of Cthulhu by author Colin Richards called Signal to Noise – An analog horror scenario from the 80s. This one-shot will take your detectives on a journey exploring strange broadcasts going on on the local TV station. I haven’t played it, but one thing I’ve noticed is the one-shot videos your players may come across as clues complete with YouTube links! If you are a fan of creepypastas and horror and want to enjoy something more modern Call of Cthulhu gaming, you’ll want to check it out From signal to noise.
The sleepy town of Summit Heights, Pennsylvania experiences a series of bizarre intrusions into the broadcasts of local station WSHP-TV Channel 17. Between the strange and disturbing nature of these pirated broadcasts and a recent string of disappearances, the town is on the brink of razor. Station Director Larry Rosenbaum has assembled a team of detectives to hunt down these signal intruders and stop them, but what they find may be stranger and more terrifying than anyone could have imagined!
You can buy From signal to noise from DriveThruRPG (affiliate link) for $9.99.
