Anu Bhatia Joins WME as Head of Film Client Marketing

Special: Deadline learned that Bhatia had been hired by WME as director of client marketing for the movie.

In her role, Bhatia will work with talented WME agents, filmmakers and clients to play a role in marketing and distribution strategies.

Bhatia joined Netflix’s WME, where she played an integral role in the development of Streamer’s cinematic marketing initiative.

During his nearly four years at Netflix, he worked on a variety of titles leading strategic, creative and digital efforts for each campaign.

Bhatia-controlled campaigns include the ten best OTT movies of all time. Red Bulletin, Project Man Y 6 underground.

It also launched campaigns for the following projects: Chicago Test 7, Mnk Y Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga.

Additionally, Bhatia helped launch Netflix animation projects by overseeing the marketing campaigns of Oscar-nominated projects. Klaus Y on the moon.

Prior to Netflix, Bhatia was Paramount Pictures’ Senior Vice President of Digital Content and Creative Advertising. She has worked on movie campaigns throughout her career. Star Trek Beyond, The Arrival, Jack Reacher, Fences, Book Club, Daddy’s House 2 Y DemolitionAmong others.

Bhatia joined Paramount a few years later as CEO of Entertainment Advertising, working for agencies like Concept Arts and bpg Advertising.

He will serve in the agency’s Beverly Hills office.
