Thanks to Hulu, Futurama is returning for a new season! It’s been nearly a decade since the animated series had finished its run, but it’s truly making a comeback, and today we have the first full trailer for you to watch!
This trailer gives us a glimpse and what’s in store for us Futurama Season 11, and the wild new adventures the crews of Planet Express find themselves on. Next season looks to be a blast! I love this show and also the next season will continue the story threads of the original series.
The synopsis reads: “After a brief ten-year hiatus, Futurama has crawled triumphantly out of the cryotube, its original cast complete and satirical wit intact. Season 11’s 10 all-new episodes have something for everyone. New viewers will be able to pick up the series from here, while longtime fans will reap the benefits of decades-old mysteries, including the unfoldings of Fry and Leela’s epic love story, the mysterious contents of Nibbler’s litter box, the secret history of the evil Robot Santa and where are Kif and Amy’s tadpoles. Meanwhile, there’s a new pandemic in town as the crew explores the future of vaccines, bitcoin, cancel culture and streaming TV.
Voice cast includes Billy West as Philip J. Fry, John DiMaggio like Bender, Katey Sagal like Leela, as well as Tress MacNeille, Maurice La Marche, Lauren Tom, Phil LaMarrAND David Herman.
Fry, Leela, Bender and the rest of the team will return to the Hulu revival on July 24th.
