Simone Pegg will return to play Hugh Sr. in The boys Season 4, and during a recent interview, he talked about the show and confirmed that he will appear in four episodes of the upcoming season.
It will be great to see Pegg back in the series. He previously appeared in five of eight episodes of the first season of the Prime Video show and later made a guest appearance in the third season opener. Speaking with Collider, Pegg talked about returning to the series:
“You know how crazy The Boys is? It’s just going to get even crazier. I had so much fun on that show. It was amazing to go back and play Hugh Sr. I love Jack [Quaid]. It was great to work with Rosemarie DeWitt, who plays Hughie’s mom, who comes back. It will be great. You will love it.”
He then went on to share how much the character will appear in Season 4, saying:
“I’m in about four episodes, and it’s been a joy to be back. It’s a great crew. They’re an amazing group of people, and that show is fucking sick!”
There aren’t many details on what Season 4 will entail, but there’s no doubt it’s going to be another crazy story! Homelander actor Antony Starr previously shared that the new season is “somehow getting weirder, weirder.” He went on to say:
“There has to be an upper limit, but we can’t seem to find it. I was looking at the person I was facing and said, ‘What are we doing? I can’t believe it! I could have done anything else with my life, but am I doing this here?’ It was truly the most bizarre thing I’ve ever done.”
So, I guess we can get ready for even more awesome madness!
