The prize is awarded annually and has the status of an all-Russian prize. The winners of this award are the initiatives that have proven themselves best in terms of respect for the environment, including the optimal use of energy resources.
In 2023, Russian Media Group was featured in the contest thanks to the Green Initiative and Russian Radio’s environmental awareness practices.
Margarita Butorina, one of the leaders of the Russian Media Group, became the representative of Russian Radio on the ECO BEST AWARD platform. During the presentation, she stated that radio music is not only entertainment, but also a powerful tool to protect our natural habitats.
The initiatives of the Russian Media Group in the field of ecology, social policy and management include the radio program “Ecological Environment”, a special “Green Nomination” under the famous music award “Golden Gramophone”, as well as an event dedicated to environmental issues “Mission of Beauty”. This project involves business people, influencers, activists and the media working together to promote environmental responsibility to the masses.
