Max has released a trailer for the upcoming sci-fi superhero thriller Grey matterwhich comes from the reanimated Green Light Project series. Green Light Project follows first-time directors who propose and develop film projects, e Grey matter it’s the project they gave the green light to. It will mark the director’s directorial debut Meko Winbush.
The story centers on Ayla and her daughter Aurora, “who both possess superhuman abilities. As Ayla attempts to train Aurora to handle these abilities, a tragic accident finds Aurora in control of her destiny and forces Ayla to confront her truth about her past. “
Superhero movies are a dime a dozen these days and this one really doesn’t seem that interesting. It seems to have a very similar story to 2018 Fast color. It’s nice that the creative team behind it managed to make its first film, though!
Grey matter stars My Isaac as Aurora, with Jessica Frances Dukes, Garrett Dillahunt, Andrea Liner, Isabella Ferreira, Christian Flores, Ezri WalkerAND Allison Ye.
The screenplay is written by Philip Gelatt and is produced by Yolanda T. Cochran, Jessica MalanafiaAND Giovanna Volturno. HBO will debut the film about Max on July 13, 2023.
