Gal GadotWonder Woman’s future at DC Studios has been in limbo ever since James Gunn AND Peter Safran they were hired to run DC Studios. Patti Jenkins developed a script for Wonder Woman 3but it ended up being a project that WB and DC Studios didn’t want to move forward with.
James Gunn confirmed that Gadot is still on board to play Wonder Woman, but admitted he’s still not sure what to do with her. When Gunn was asked if any former stars were in talks about the future of the franchise, he said, “A few. We don’t know. We’ve talked to Gal. She’s willing to do stuff. We’re not sure what we’re going to be dealing with.” with that.
Now we have a little update from Gadot on what’s going on with Wonder Woman. He told ET, “Things are being worked on behind the scenes and once the time is right, you’ll know.”
So if they can figure out how to handle Gadot’s version of Wonder Woman in this new DC cinematic universe, maybe we’ll see her in action again. I guess that won’t happen for a while as Gunn and Safran have yet to pitch their DC movie plans.
