THE FLASH star Sasha Calle confirms she’s meeting with DC Studios to talk about the future of Supergirl

The flash star Sasha Calle she really hopes she can continue playing Supergirl in the DC Cinematic Universe. She was amazing in the film and it would be interesting to see a film expand her story about her in some way.

Well, it seems the conversations about how to make it have started. During a recent interview with USA Today, she said “I hope to continue playing Supergirl” and revealed that she met the co-CEO of DC Studios Peter Safran to discuss possibilities. She went on to say, “I love her so deeply and feel so connected to her.”

We have no idea what the future looks like for Calle’s version of Supergirl. But Safran e James Gunn announced a Supergirl: the woman of tomorrow project, which will be part of the new DCU Chapter One: Gods and Monsters.

Calle previously said: “I think so [The Flash] it really is a runway to a bigger story for her. We really don’t experience much. I feel like this is a runway to a bigger story. Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, by Tom King, is an incredible comic. I love it. I think it’s so beautiful. So yes, I hope to continue. I hope to continue playing Supergirl for sure.

When it comes to Supergirl: the woman of tomorrow it was revealed: “This is based on Tom Kingthe wonderful comic series that came out just last year. He is ready for lots of awards. This is a very different kind of Super Girl. In our series, we see the difference between Superman who was sent to Earth and raised by loving parents from the time he is a baby versus a super girl who was raised on a sliver of rock off the coast of Krypton and has seen everyone around she dying and being killed in horrific ways for the first 14 years of her life, and then she came to earth when she was a little girl and it’s way more hardcore. She’s not exactly the Super Girl we’re used to seeing.

I liked Calle’s version of Supergirl, but with The flash having a disappointing opening weekend at the box office, who knows what will happen with this franchise and these characters?
