Chris Hemsworth and director Sam Hargrave recently showed up as Netflix’s Tudum event to announce that they are developing Extraction 3! The sequel was released on the streaming service this weekend, and it’s one hell of a badass movie! It’s so much better than the first movie and maybe this third one will raise the bar to another level.
There are no details to share about the third film, but the franchise centers around black ops mercenary Tyler Rake. In the first film, Tyler embarks on a mission to rescue the son of an Indian crime lord, and finds himself on the brink of death. Extraction 2 picks up with Tyler recovering from the mission in the first film, but then decides to embark on another dangerous adventure to save the family of a Georgian gangster.
Extraction AND Extraction 2 are currently available to stream on Netflix. If you haven’t watched them yet, they’re definitely worth checking out! The action in these movies, especially the sequel, is incredibly impressive!
