Certainly ! Fanny is a bit like my daughter: for eleven years I’ve seen her develop at the same time as me! I have a love for him and I want him to be happy. I think that’s what’s missing in her relationship with Christian.
Fanny and you are about to fly to Japan…
Fanny will go there to find a record label and shoot music videos. I will explore this country because I have never been there. Especially since I’m a manga fan! I am very happy because not everyone has the opportunity to travel this far.
At the beginning of the year, you gave concerts in New York and Nashville, which were shot for the needs of the series. What memories do you have about it?
It was extraordinary. I stressed a lot, especially since I had to speak English between songs. It went very well in the end. Although some did not understand all the words, the audience was extremely warmly welcomed and participated. Some of my fans even from France and Belgium came to watch me sing in New York. I couldn’t believe it until he showed me the plane tickets. They made the round trip on purpose, amazing!
How do you explain this special relationship with your audience?
I always made sure the public understood that I was like him. And I always felt the need to trust myself with my songs. Many people have told me that what I write is also their story. I think people see me as a friend. I’m so happy to see them when I give autograph sessions! I always feel like we know each other. This is a beautiful story.
Are you planning to return to the stage soon?
Normally we will continue touring from 2024. I think the seventh album will be out by then. We are working on it. And then, maybe, new dates in the United States.

clearly ! (Laughs) My casting friend Nathalie Marquay called me before she went to shoot. All I could advise him was to live his experience to the fullest and stay true to it.
