While Deadpool 3 is bringing back many familiar faces from the franchise and possibly the X-Men movie, there’s one actress who won’t be returning to Deadpool’s next party. Zazie Beetzwho played dominoes, will not return.
Beetz herself shared the news in an interview with Decider where she said, “Well, they’re not actually in Deadpool 3, so I don’t know what they’re doing. [about improvisation]. I assume they are probably taking a break. […] I’m excited to watch it.
So, it’s kind of a disappointment to hear. I couldn’t wait to see Domino in action again! He was a nice character! When Beetz was previously asked about her possible return, the actress said she would “love” to return, but then added, “I don’t know. We’ll see. I’d love to do more Deadpool, but it’s me, so I won’t.” I can reveal.”
The cast currently includes Ryan Reynolds AND Hugh Jackman as Deadpool and Wolverine. They are united by Brianna Hildebrand AND Shioli Kutsunawho will reprise their roles as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and his girlfriend Yukio, a Japanese mutant ninja.
The film is also the protagonist Emma Corrin like the bad guy, Morena Baccarin AND Stefan Kapicic as Vanessa and Colossus, Matthew Macfadyen in an unknown role, Karan Soni as Dopinder, e Leslie Uggams in the role of Al blind. Then there is the possibility that we will see Halle Berry come back as Storm, Famke Janssen such as Jean Grey, e James Marden like Cyclops. It’s also been teased that the film will also feature a returning X-Men villain and a returning MCU villain, but they haven’t revealed the identities of those characters.
The film is directed by Shawn Levi from a script written by Rhett Reese AND Paul Wernick. They are going all out for this story and it is sure to take the fans on a crazy journey. Previously speaking about the story, Reese said it will be a “fish out of water story.” He explained, “It’s a wonderful fish out of water opportunity. Deadpool is a madman at the center of a movie. Usually, the madmen are the supporting characters and the lead is reasonably sane and our film is turned upside down. To drop a madman into a very sane world, that’s pure butter. It’s going to be really fun.”
While I’m excited for the movie, I’m disappointed that Beetz didn’t make the cut.
