The CW has renewed Superman and Lois for a fourth season, and will consist of ten new episodes. This DC series has been a huge hit with fans, so I’m not surprised that it has been picked up for another season. This will be the last DC series left on The CW because you know which show didn’t make the cut? Knights of Gotham.
The CW has cancelled Knights of Gotham after just one season, and even that doesn’t surprise me because that show wasn’t good.
But, the renewal of Superman and Lois it has a cost. Deadline reports that to make the deal work, the network will cut the budget and reduce the number of cast members on the series. Superman and Lois it has 12 series regulars, and while series regulars should be fine, some of the supporting cast members will likely be cut back.

The adults aren’t the only ones rediscovering old friendships in Smallville as Kent’s children recognize Lana and Kyle’s wayward daughter, Sarah. Of course, there’s never a dull moment in the life of a superhero, especially with Lois’ father, General Samuel Lane, looking for Superman to take down a villain or save the day on the spur of the moment.
In Knights of Gotham, “in the wake of Bruce Wayne’s murder, his wayward adopted son forges an unlikely alliance with the sons of Batman’s enemies when they are all framed for killing the Caped Crusader. And as the city’s most wanted criminals, this renegade band of misfits must fight to clear their name. But in a Gotham with no Dark Knight to protect it, the city plunges into the most dangerous it has ever been. However, hope comes from the most unexpected places as this team of mismatched escapees will become his next generation of saviors.
