A new red band trailer for the raunchy high school comedy has been released Funds, which follows a pair of self-described nerdy girls who hope to have a chance with the girls of their dreams, but instead set up an all-girls fight club with the approval of an unlikely teacher. The film is the protagonist Rachel Sennot AND Ayo Edebiri as best friends PJ and Josie, and bond with them Havana Rosa Liu, Nicholas Galicia, Miles FowlerAND Marshawn Lynch.
Bottoms is directed by Emma Seligmann (Child Shiva), who co-wrote the screenplay with Rachel Sennott. Elizabeth Banks, Max Handelman and Alison Small produce the film.
It looks like it will be hilarious and a lot of fun! It’s not your typical coming-of-age story and I love the way they set out to tell this story. The movie premiered earlier this year at the SXSW film festival and the fans loved it! Check out the trailer and movie poster below and watch Funds in US theaters August 25.
