Critics’ judgment on “The Flash” is unexpected and surprising. -Warner Bros. (DC)
‘The Flash’ is perhaps the most anticipated film of the year, it has been very successful since April, with rumors that it is the best of its kind. However, Rotten tomatoes has already delivered its verdict and the result may not be as surprising as expected, a situation that jeopardizes the success of its premiere.
Rotten Tomatoes gave ‘The Flash’ a modest 73%, a good assessment but a bit opaque compared to the expectations that derive from it. Additionally, the reviews from critics were quite mixed which contributed to this mixed reception.
It is important to note that, so far, the DC movie only has 64 reviews. As more reviews are added, we may see this rating increase or decrease. The truth is that it doesn’t look like Barry Allen’s thrilling adventure will be a big hit, at least as far as the specialized press is concerned.

‘The Flash’ rating is lower on Metacritic
If 73% got from ‘The Flash’ on Rotten Tomatoes it was already a bit disappointing Considering all that has been said about the film, its Metacritic rating is even more disappointing. On Metacritic, “The Flash” barely saves itself with a modest 60 out of 100, an average lower than the one obtained on Rotten Tomatoes.

Here the division between specialized critics is further revealed, given that there were 15 positive reviews compared to 12 mixed (the latter with marks from 40 to 60). That doesn’t speak too highly of the film just a week after its world premiere. It seems that ‘The Flash’ is having a hard time winning over criticsproving to be hit-and-miss among fans expecting a masterpiece.
However, it is important to remember that film ratings are subjective and each viewer may have a different opinion. Despite the mixed reviews, Barry Allen fans and fans of the DC universe are still excited to see the story on the big screen.
The real test of ‘The Flash’ success will come when it comes out and the general public has the opportunity to see it and form their own opinion. While initial feelings can influence perception, word of mouth and public response can turn the tide of this story.
