Not too long ago, we shared an awesome stop-motion LEGO trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse! This video has gone viral and has been created for 14 years Preston Mutanga. It was actually one of the most impressive LEGO trailers I’ve ever seen, and it turns out Preston actually worked on the film!
Fans have noticed Preston’s name in the film’s credits, and he’s the one who animated all the LEGO sections of the film!
Fans reached out to the teenager Chirping for clarification with a follower asking, “Wait, did you actually animate the Lego world in the movie?” Preston replied, “(Yes),” along with a GIF of LEGO Batman saying, “Sorry, I literally have no idea what you’re talking about.”
Another follower She said: “BROTHER, I LIKED THE SCENE YOU ANIMATED BY THE WAY WHICH WAS AWESOME,” and Preston thanked the fan. So, that’s really cool! It must have been such a great experience for Preston to work on such an incredible film and a scene that has become a fan favorite moment.
The LEGO scenes in the movie were really fun and it was great to see the writers and producers Phil Lord AND Chris Miller revisit their LEGO universe in the film and connect it to the Spider-Verse.
