I have a trailer here for you to watch for a gritty new Australian crime thriller titled Roadkill. That doesn’t look bad for a low-budget indie film.
In the film, “Like a modern Highwayman, Connor spends his days on the isolated highways of rural Australia stealing from unsuspecting victims. He justifies his actions by saving up his earnings in hopes of getting the love of his life, Lucy Miller, out of the harsh and unforgiving Australian outback. Across the country, in his “God-seeking,” a serial killer travels from city to city executing those he believes to be “sinners.” On his trail are detectives Albert and Ernest, motivated and logical, they follow the trail of the bodies in an attempt to find and stop the brutal killer. Their hunt takes them to the town of Renmark, Connor’s current refuge.
Roadkill was written and directed by Alexander Whirowwho is making his feature film directorial debut, and movie stars Alexander Whirow, Robert Bell, Sara Milde, Edward BoydAND Erik Straut.
The film is currently available to watch direct on VOD.
