While Warner Bros. is preparing to release the highly anticipated film from DC Studios The flash, we learned from Variety that a script for the sequel had already been written. That script was written by Aquaman writer David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick and is said to have featured Michael Keatonit’s Batman and Sasha Calleit’s Supergirl. However, this script is unlikely to be used.

I’m quite confident of that The flash it’s going to be a big box office hit and I’m sure the studio will want to make a sequel. When previously asked about a potential sequel about a month ago, the director Andy Muschietti he said he “hasn’t talked about it” with DC Studios and that the continuation is all down to who makes the first film at the box office. He said:

“I think we’re all waiting to see how this movie does. Sure, there’s excitement in continuing the story, especially if this movie is successful. Of course, there is an architecture in DC that is being prepared and being created. And the question is: will this new architecture absorb this history?

Well, they’ve thought about it enough to write a script for a sequel! Muschietti goes on to say that he thinks the introduction of the multiverse opens the door for another installment:

“The good thing about the multiverse is that it’s possible. The multiverse allows for all these different worlds to coexist and interact, and so hopefully, yeah, I mean, we don’t know yet. It is the truth.”

One thing we can expect to see in a sequel is the return of Ezra Miller as Berry Alan aka The Flash. The director recently said he has no plans to recast Miller despite the actor’s recent history of legal troubles and abuse. When asked if he wants Miller to return, the director said:

“Self [a sequel] it happens, yes. I don’t think there’s anyone who can play that character as well as they can. The other portrayals of the character are great, but this particular take on the character, they’re just excellent at it. And, as you said, the two Barrys, he feels like a character made for them.

The producer of Flash Barbara Muschietti he added, “In principal photography, Ezra was brilliant, the busiest and the most professional [actor]. Ezra gave everything to this role: physically, creatively, emotionally. They were absolutely supreme.

In the first upcoming film, ‘Worlds collide on The Flash as Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry is trapped a reality where General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no superheroes to turn to, unless Barry can convince a very different Batman to come out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian…even if not what he’s looking for. for. In the end, to save the world he’s in and return to the future he knows, Barry’s only hope is to run for his life. But making the ultimate sacrifice will be enough to reset the ‘universe?

The film is also the protagonist Ben Affleck like Batman, e Michael Shannon like Zod, with Ron Livingstone AND Maribel Verdu who play Barry’s parents. Saoirse-Monica Jackson (Derry girls) and Internet personality Rudy Mancuso will also appear.

The flash will be released on June 16, 2023.
