Hailee Steinfeld can’t wait to return to the MCU as Kate Bishop

Hailee Steinfeld made her big MCU debut as Kate Bishop with the Disney+ series Hawk eye, and she was really great in the role. I liked the way Marvel handled the character and was wondering when we might see her reappear in the franchise. One thing’s for sure, the actress is ready to dress up again and get in on the action.

During a recent interview with the Happy Sad Confused podcast, she was asked when fans might see a movie featuring the Young Avengers, and she replied:

“The question from both you and me. I’m definitely chewing on a bit, it’s been a minute. It’s always so funny because I feel like a few months can go by and I feel like I haven’t done anything, you know what I mean?” It’s been a long time since…” And it’s been a while since Dickinson finished and Hawkeye came out. what I do and I love what we do. I had such a sense of belonging when I’m on set and a sense of home and I love it. It’s been a while, so I’m really enjoying it.”

Steinfeld went on to share with those looking forward to working within the MCU films:

“Oh man, the list goes on. Everyone you mentioned [Pugh and Maslany], the list is long. I just started reviewing all the Marvel movies in [chronological] order… Everything I just saw comes to mind, and I’m memory jogging for all that have come to mind over the last few years. The list is long.”

The only project that has so far been announced by Marvel that he could potentially appear in is next year’s Lightning. But they’re filming right now and it doesn’t look like she’s a part of it. Regardless, it will be interesting to see what projects Marvel shows up in next.

Are there any other Marvel projects you can think of that Steinfeld could appear in?
