Now you can camp at THE CONJURING House and do some ghost hunting!

For those of you looking for a little real-life horror adventure, the real house that inspired the movie The Conjuring is currently offering a ghost hunting camping adventure! Sounds like something I’d love to do! I’m always up for some creepy thrills! Think you have what it takes to spend the night in a haunted house?

The website for the experience at The Old Arnold Estate promises “genuine opportunities for guests to learn about and experience paranormal phenomena.” The house became famous in the 1970s when demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren investigated a supernatural case involving the Perron family.

Our new GHamping experience will take you beyond the walls of The Conjuring House and immerse you in the earth for an unforgettable nighttime investigation within the walls of our 3-4 person tents. With only 8 sites available, these are the perfect base for your overnight adventure to this iconic location. Visitors should bring their own equipment to investigate what may be waiting in the dark because this excursion is sure to test your ability to experience the paranormal.

To make your visit even more memorable, we recommend combining your GHamping night experience with a haunted and historical tour of The Conjuring House. Led by our experienced and knowledgeable guides, you’ll travel through the infamous house and learn about its history and the spirits that stay here.

While you won’t be sleeping in the house, guests can take inside tours, guided night investigations, and daytime roaming sessions. There are 8 tented accommodations available on the site and their locations on the ground are ranked according to ‘fear factor’. Here are the details on the accommodations:

Extraterrestrial portal – Mediums, card readers, and house spirits have told us of extraterrestrial visitations. If true, their portal is somewhere in the lower field. From glowing orbs to a UFO video captured in 2021, this experience starts with Fright Factor 6 but can quickly rise to 9 if you’re lucky. What could you see? What could you hear? Host a CE5 meditation, set up the equipment, and find out.

The cottage – Off the trail among the ghostly children sits a 1968 Vintage Avion Trailer. Listen past the pond voyeurs to hear the long-dead local children at play. Bring your voice recorder to capture an EVP and bring your thermal imaging device to see an apparition peeking out from behind a tree. Perhaps they will invite you to join them for a game of hide and seek.

Pet cemetery – Behind a stone wall and under trees lie the remains of beloved pets, long dead, long buried. She catches the eye of a ghost horse and invites a visit from one of our ghost cats. She hears a distant bark or a cow call. It could be one of many animals that have lived, died, and remain a part of our haunted history. Bring your cat balls, rem pods and night vision binoculars.

Seven Soldiers – As told to Cindy Perron in the 1970s, “There are 7 dead soldiers buried in the wall.” Was it the Revolutionary War? King Philip’s War? Any other war? Get ready for the walking shadow figures. Get ready for disembodied vocals. Bring your own spirit boxes, dowsing rods and thermal imaging devices. Perhaps you can learn the stories of these deceased souls buried forever here.

Over the Bridge – These tents are a special kind of fear. Nightfall transforms the property across the bridge into one of a sinister kind. Be prepared for shadow figures, footsteps, drums and howling animals. You’ll want to bring a respectful offering (something biodegradable) and plead for protection against anything suspicious that might try to lure you deeper and deeper into the woods.

Floating tent of regrets – The Floating Tent of Regrets can be found in the woods at the river crossing just across the bridge. We have heard stories of a deceased boy found floating down this river and the deaths of native children caught in a flash flood. Let’s not forget Lorraine’s film The Conjuring watching her daughter pass as a dire warning. What secrets will these waters reveal? Bring your gear and hope you won’t be full of regrets choosing this hangout by Whispering Waters.

Tent of Purgatory of Perron – Perron’s Purgatory Tent is located deep in the woods. It sits between stories of interdimensional encounters, Bigfoot sightings, and mermaid-like orbs of light. Experienced detectives have been known to flee in terror to the safety of the house. How brave are you? Do you dare to find out?

So, are you ready to try an experience like this?!
