It looks like Netflix is currently in production on a Sorcerer spin-off series and the Expendables AND Rocky IV actor Dolph Lundgren he is in the cast. The news came from Lundgren himself during an interview with Swedish outlet Aftonbladet, and he says he’s currently shooting the project in South Africa.
As for what this spinoff could be, a previous report suggested it could be for The Rats. For those of you who don’t know, in the novels, the Rats are a notorious group of young Nilfgaardian criminal misfits who targeted the rich and rich. The Rats feature in Ciri’s storyline as she joins them for a period of time.
According to Redanian Intelligence, the show will revolve around “six teenage thieves [who] must rely on their criminal skills as they plan the biggest heist of their career against the most dangerous criminal organization in the kingdom”.
The Rats will be featured in The sorcerer Season 3, episodes 7 and 8, when Ciri first meets them. They are meant to be featured even more in season 4 of The sorcerer. But between seasons 3 and 4, the spin-off will come out. A member of the Rats (Mistletoe by Christelle Elwin) is confirmed to appear in the third season of The Witcher.

The sorcerer Season 3 will launch in two parts later this summer. Volume 1 arrives on June 29, while Volume 2 hits our screens on July 27. This will be Henry Cavill’s last season with Geralt in The sorcerer.
