Deadpool 3 recently kicked off production and is currently filming which is actually pretty exciting! Ryan Reynolds he’s back as Deadpool and one of the things the actor loves to do while filming these movies is improvise. Reynolds is so funny and witty and likes to spit out different funny jokes during filming.
Well, it turns out that with Deadpool 3, he is not allowed to do this. He can’t improvise any lines on the film set due to the ongoing writers’ strike. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor is considered a writer on the franchise, and because of this, the strike rules do not allow him to alter the film in any way during filming.
The report explains that typically non-writer directors or producers “may make minor adjustments to scripts under clause (a) to (h).” But with Reynolds co-writer Shawn Levi helm Deadpool 3the finished cut is unlikely Deadpool 3 it’s going to end up being different than what’s in the script that was written. They will have to stick to that.
I guess this is going to be tough for Reynolds because the whole Deadpool thing is making cuff jokes about things going on around him. There’s a certain kind of energy there, so I just hope the script can capture that wit and energy.
Levy previously teased the film’s violence and vulgarity, saying, “We’re writing, rewriting, developing, preparing Deadpool every day now. It’s so fun to laugh every day. It’s so delightful to listen and write and come up with these scenes where people just talk shit. And the violence is in your face and hardcore, and it’s just a Deadpool movie.”
It’s also been revealed that Wolverine and Deadpool won’t get along in the film. Wolverine hates Deadpool and Jackman has spoken about this before, saying, “How do I rate him? Ten is very close, zero is reality, we are zero, we are opposites, we hate each other. I’m just talking from my point of view, [Logan’s] frustrated with him, wants to be a million miles away from him or wants to punch him in the head. Unfortunately, she can’t be a million miles away from him in this movie, so I’m probably going to be punching him in the head a lot.
Reynolds also previously shared some insight into a Deadpool and Wolverine storyline that was being planned before Disney bought Fox. “It was going to be a road trip between Deadpool and Logan. Rashmon style. Really.” I hope they’re still going to do it!
The cast also includes Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Emma Corrin like the bad guy, Morena Baccarin AND Stefan Kapicic as Vanessa and Colossus, Matthew Macfadyen in an unknown role, Karan Soni as Dopinder, e Leslie Uggams in the role of Al blind. Then, there is Rob Delaney like Peter.
Deadpool 3 is scheduled for November 8, 2024.
