May 2023 Xbox Game Pass Newcomers and Last Calls Part 2

Xbox recently announced all titles coming to Xbox Game Pass (affiliate link) for the rest of May. There’s a little bit of everything it seems, all from indie studios and I think that’s pretty exciting. Ghost is a Southeast Asian folk ARPG, Box beasts is a new monster collecting game, Chicory: a colorful tale looks adorable and more. What are you excited about playing?

• FIFA 23 (Console & PC) EA Play – May 16th

• The Eastern Exorcist (Console & PC) – May 18

  • This is a fictional oriental world with an infestation of vicious demonic monsters. He plays as a skilled exorcist against chaotic evil to make his way through the brutal world and experience unforeseen weaves of complex beings.

• Ghostlore (Console) – May 18

  • Available now with PC Game Pass and coming to Xbox consoles. Ghostlore is an “Eastpunk” action RPG in which you fight monsters from Southeast Asian folklore. Inspired by timeless ARPG classics such as Diablo 2 and Titan Quest, Ghostlore features a detailed character and item customization system, procedurally generated maps, and a truly retro 90s aesthetic.

• Planet of Lana (console and PC) – May 23

  • Available day one with Game Pass: Planet of Lana is coming soon to Xbox Game Pass for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. In this cinematic puzzle adventure, Lana and her partner Mui embark on a journey of discovery that will take them through the strange and magical world they call home.

• Cassette Beasts (Console) – May 25

• Massive Chalice (Cloud and Console) – May 25

  • Massive Chalice is a tactical strategy game set in an epic timeline from Double Fine Productions. As the nation’s immortal ruler, you’ll take command of its heroes, forge heroic marriages to strengthen your bloodlines, and battle a mysterious enemy known as Cadence in a 300-year war.

• Railway Empire 2 (Cloud, Console & PC) – May 25th

  • Available on Day 1 with Game Pass – all aboard the express train to riches and fame in Railway Empire 2! • Chicory: A Colorful Tale (Console & PC) – May 30
