Shudder has released a trailer for a funny looking supernatural horror movie titled Brooklyn 45. It follows a group of military veterans who gather for a séance that goes terribly wrong.
The story takes place on Friday, December 27, 1945 and centers on “five military veterans gathered in the decorated living room of a Brooklyn brownstone. Best friends since childhood, they’ve gathered to support their troubled host, but when his invitation to a cocktail party turns into an impromptu séance, the metaphorical ghosts of their past become all too literal.
Trapped in their host’s living room, “the Greatest Generation now find themselves subjected to one last test…with the only road to freedom being more bloodshed.”
The film comes from the director Ted Geoghegan (Mohawk, we’re still here) and movie stars Anna Ramsey (A league of their own), Ezra Buzzington (The hills Have Eyes), Jeremy Holm (The Ranger), Larry Fessenden (We are still here), Ron E. it’s raining (The film standard of the onion), AND Kristina Clebe (by Rob Zombie Halloween).
The thrill will release Brooklyn 45 on June 9, 2023.
