Michael Bay is getting into the true crime business and has teamed up with Investigation Discovery for a true crime docuseries that will “uncover a terrifying, but little-known, true-crime story.”
True Crime has been hugely popular and continues to grow in popularity, so it makes sense that Bay would want to get in on the action, but I never expected that from him! The director shared why he created this project, saying:
“I am a storyteller at heart. I am fascinated by the human mind and the exploration of what makes each of us tick. When you approach real-life crime documentation from that perspective, the end result is always intriguing. Known for the caliber of its programming, Investigation Discovery’s expertise in unscripted true crime is second to none, and I look forward to exposing one of the most twisted crimes of the century.

There’s no info on what this twisted true crime story is all about, but I’m sure we’ll find out soon enough! It would be nice if they gave us some more information, but their plan is obviously to publicize the project with as few details as possible.
