Ming Na Wen (Mulan, E.R) is currently voicing the character of Fong Wing in the Max animated series, Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai. While chatting with CB about her latest role, the actress was asked if she ever wanted to go back to her Agents of SHIELD character, Melinda May.
Wen replied:
“I can’t really say what’s next, but I know that having played her for seven years, 22 episodes a year, I miss being her. As an actor, we bring these characters to life and they become a part of us; they’re in our DNA, and I miss his being, so I hope one day I can bring Agent May back.”
Wen has continually expressed her love for the character over the years, and has always seemed open to returning. I think it would be nice to bring her character back into the MCU again. What do you think?
