Tubi is developing NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, a film inspired by the FESTIVAL OF THE LIVING DEAD

Ashley Moore (I know what you did last summer) AND Camren Bicondova (Gotham) will star in a new film project for Tubi titled Feast of the Living Deadwhich inspires it George A. RomeroThe classic 1968 zombie movie Night of the Living Dead.

In the film, “more than 50 years have passed since the original Night of the Living Dead zombie attack, and the horrific event has become the subject of morbid nostalgia. Looking for a good time, Ash (Moore) and his friends attend the Festival of the Living Dead, but it is interrupted when an explosion of radioactive space dust hits the festival and they must defend themselves or be devoured by the living dead.

It is explained that Ash “has been accepted into college and is preparing to reluctantly leave her old life behind as she is torn between her boyfriend and her friends, and her old friends. When her boyfriend gets her tickets to the festival, she jumps at the chance to see her “her” favorite band.

Bicondova plays a character named Iris, “who has been Ash’s closest friend for years, though they’re starting to drift apart, mostly because Iris knows Ash is leaving to go to college. She agrees to watch Ash’s brother Luke so Ash can go to the festival.

The new horror film will be directed by Jen AND Silvia Soska (Angry, American Mary) and looks like it could be a fun horror film, paying homage to Romero and his zombie films. The film was written by Elena Marsh AND Miriam Lyapinwith Jacopo Nasser (Game of deception) as a manufacturer.

The film comes from Enlighten Content and will debut on Tubi this fall. He is also the protagonist Andre Antonio (The night agent), Christian Rose, Shiloh O’Reilly, Gage Marsh (You me her), Keana Lyn Bastidas (The Hardy Boys), AND Maia Jae Bastidas (Rabbit hole).
