SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE Promo Spot Spotlight Spider-Woman and Spider-Man India

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will introduce us to a bunch of new variations of Spider-Man characters – 240 of them! Many of these characters have been teased in trailers for the film, but today we have two new promo spots that shine the spotlight on two of them: Jessica Drew, aka Spider-Woman (Issa Rae), and Pavitr Prabhakar aka Spider-Man India (Karan Soni).

The promotional spots are very funny and full of energy! These characters will definitely add a great dynamic to the movie and Hailee SteinfeldGwen is so in awe of Spider-Woman, who is pregnant, that she wants Spider-Woman to adopt her. As for Spider-Man India, she just looks like a vibrant character who will deliver some great fight sequences!

The sequel follows Miles Morales as he is “immersed in the multiverse where he joins forces with Gwen Stacy and a new team of Spider-folk to take on a villain more powerful than anything they’ve ever encountered.”

After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, “the friendly Brooklyn neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he meets a team of Spider-People charged with protecting his very existence. But when the heroes clash over how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.

also includes the cast Shameik Moore as Mile Morales, Brian Tiree Henry as Miles’ father, Jefferson Davis; Luna Lauren Velez as Miles’ mom, Rio Morales; Jorma Taccone as Vulture; Rachel Dratch; Shea Whigham; Greta Lee; AND Jason Schwartzmann as the villain Spot. Andy Samberg he also recently joined the cast.

The film will also introduce multiple universes including Gwen’s Earth-65, with its signature watercolor palette; India-inspired Mumbattan; Nueva York, the home of Oscar Isaacof Spider-Man 2099, aka Miguel O’Hara; the punk New London, inhabited by Daniel Kaluyaby Hobart “Hobie” Brown, aka Spider-Punk; and then there is a secret fifth dimension that is kept well hidden for now.

The film is directed and produced by Justin K Thompson, Joaquim Dos SantosAND Kemp Powers. Avi Arad, Amy Pascal, Phil Lord, Chris Miller AND Christine Steinberg they are also producing. Lord and Miller will also be credited as screenwriters on the film, along with David Callaham.

The film will be released on June 2, 2023!
