Dan Stevens (The Host, Legion, Downton Abbey) AND Kevin Durand (The stump) will play alongside Melissa Barrara in Radio Silence’s thriller Untitled Monster, set at Universal Pictures. Stevens just finished work Godzilla vs. Kong: The New Empire, and I guess he’s ready for another monster movie madness! Alisha Weir also joined the cast along with Kathryn Newton, Angus CloudAND Will Catlett.
Radio silence Matt Bettinelli-Olpin AND Tyler Gillette will direct the film, with the producer of Scream Chad Villella serving as producer together William Sherak, Paul Neistein AND James Vanderbilt.
The untitled film is “in the vein of recent Studio hits like The Invisible Man and Renfield.” It is explained that it will offer “a unique take on legendary monster lore and represent a fresh and new direction in how we celebrate these classic characters.”
The actual plot details of the film are being kept under wraps and we have no idea who will play any of the actors in the film. I hope this will be a Bride of Frankenstein movie, but there are so many other different things it could be.
The screenplay of the film was written by Stefano Scudiwith revisions by Guy Busicand we’ll just have to wait and see what story this film will tell.
