James Gunn he is deep in the process of casting his own Superman: Legacy movie. Some of the actors she has been dating have recently been revealed. David Corenswet (Pearl) is the director’s first choice for Clark Kent/Superman e Rachel Brosnahan, Samara texture, Emma MackeyAND Phoebe Dynevor I’m running for Lois Lane.
It has also been revealed that Nicholas Hoult was up for the role of Lex Luther, however, another report from The Wrap suggests the DC Studios film will feature Apex Lex Luthor and that “Gunn has been seeing black actors for the part.” In the comics, Apex Lex Luthor had a hybrid human/Martian body and it is said that he “could physically tiptoe with Superman”. However, the report states that “it’s unclear whether the Lex Luthor in Gunn’s film is actually Apex Lex Luthor.”
According to the Entertainment reporter Justin KrollGunn reportedly discussed playing Lex Luthor with a Guardians of the Galaxy actor. This makes me wonder if the actor she met with is Chukwudi Iwuji, who played The High Evolutionary in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, but this is just my speculation. It’s not hard to imagine Iwuji in the role of Lex.
Superman: Legacy will introduce a new version of Superman and tell the story of “Superman’s journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas. He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way, driven by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as old-fashioned.
