THE Ghost Adventures the series is coming to the Discovery Channel with a two-hour special called “Lake of Death,” in which the paranormal team, Zak Bagans, Aaron Goodwin, Jay Wasley AND Billy Toley, will investigate the deadly secrets along Lake Mead of the Hoover Dam. That special will kick off a new season of ghost hunting madness!
I know these types of shows aren’t for everyone, but I love watching this one! What can I say, it amuses me! Here are the details that have been shared for “Ghost Adventures: Lake of Death”:
More than 10 million fans watched Ghost Adventures on the Travel Channel during its final season and, among men 25-54, it was the No. 1 non-sports/news program. 1 by Cable in its timeslot.

Every episode of Ghost Adventures features the investigation team as they travel to haunted locations in search of evidence of the afterlife, and meet with locals, eyewitnesses, and experts to piece together each site’s haunted history. Their in-depth investigations use the latest scientific gadgets and technology to acquire physical evidence of the paranormal and gain a better understanding of each supernatural mystery.
“Fans can look forward to insane investigations and mountains of paranormal evidence this season. I look forward to sharing our findings with longtime fans and capturing the attention of new viewers. I am grateful to be able to expand the scope of what ‘Ghost Adventures’ has always set out to do: build a better understanding of the afterlife,” said Bagans.
In “Ghost Adventures: Lake of Death,” set along the sprawling shores of Lake Mead, an attack by an anxious spirit brings Zak Bagans to his knees and he fears for his life.
Other stories this season include the team’s investigation of paranormal evidence at places like Los Angeles’ Barclay Hotel, whose macabre history rivals that of the infamous Hotel Cecil; California’s first oil boom town, Mentryville, teeming with paranormal mayhem; The Commercial Casino and Hotel in Elko, Nevada with a lawless history now fueling a malevolent energy; and the peculiar Longfellow-Hastings Octagon House in Los Angeles teeming with poltergeist activity.
The new season of Ghost Adventures will debut Wednesday, May 31 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
