HBO Max has released a full trailer for the upcoming Clone High series, which is a revival of the cult classic animated series by Phil Lord AND Chris Miller. It’s pretty crazy that 21 years after the series was canceled after one season, it’s back like this!
The new series has the same animation style, the same characters, and even some of the same voice cast members. This show seems to have captured the spirit of the original series and will provide entertaining entertainment for the audience!
After a high school secretly run as an elaborate military experiment to clone “history’s greatest minds” was put on ice, the clones were thawed 20 years later to resume the experiment with new clone classmates, all while navigating into a new set of cultural norms and overly dramatic teenage relationships in this modern update of the animated comedy series.
Voice cast includes Will Forte as Abe Lincoln, Nicholas Sullivan like Joan of Arc, Christa Miller as Candido Simpson, Donald Faison as George Washington Carver, Judas Miller like Scangrade, plus Ayo Edebiri, Mitra Johari, Vicci Martinez, Kelvin Yu, Neil Casey, Jana Schmiedingand many others.
Clone High was created by Bill Lorenzo (Ted Lasso), Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, who also wrote the series. Other writers include Matt Marshall and Erica Rivinoja. HBO will debut the Clone High revival on Max on May 23.
