Pete Davidson’s cameo character in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3 Revealed

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has finally hit theaters and fans are delivering rave reviews on the film, calling it the best Marvel movie since Avengers: Finaleand one of the best MCU movies ever made. The film features the main cast, including Chris Pratt like Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana like Gamora, Dave Bautista like Drax, Karen Gillan like Nebula, Sean Gunn as Kraglin/Rocket on set, Afternoon Clementeff like mantis, Bradley Cooper such as Rocket, and Vin Diesel like Groot. There are also new additions to the cast Will Poult such as Adam Warlock e Chukwudi Iwuji such as the High Evolutionary as well as Daniela Melchior, Nico SantoAND Borat next movie‘S Maria Bakalova like Cosmo the space dog.

But a new character in the film is played by a James Gunn alumnus, you just wouldn’t know when you see him. Back when the movie was filming in Atlanta, actor and comedian Peter Davidsonwhich had previously appeared in Gunn’s 2021 film, The suicide squadshowed up to visit the set for a day, and ended up being cast as Phlektik, one of the High Evolutionary’s guards.

He voiced the character and wore the masked costume for one day’s filming. Gunn confirmed the role and also confirmed that Gunn himself voiced the character Lambshank. He shared photos from Davidson’s day on set, which you can see below.
