Here’s another fun trailer and retro movie to watch for the 1987 sci-fi horror thriller Night flyers. The film is actually based on George RR Martinis the 1980 novel, and the story is set in 2093 and follows a group of scientists who set out on a journey through space to find a mysterious alien creature.

As they travel deeper into space, they begin to experience strange and terrifying events, leading to a battle for survival against an unknown and deadly force. They are revealed to be victims of the evil computer possessed by the ship.
Martin co-wrote the screenplay with the screenwriter and producer Robert Jaffeand was directed by Robert Collector. It’s actually not a bad film, but Martin wasn’t happy with cutting certain plot elements to accommodate the film’s small budget.
The film has since gained a cult following among fans of the genre, and a television adaptation of the novella was released in 2018, although it deviated significantly from the original story.
While the film was not a box office success, Martin believes the film saved his career and that everything he has written since exists largely because of it.
