Gravitas Ventures has released an intense trailer for an upcoming indie thriller titled Outpost. The film centers on a woman who takes a job as a “fire lookout” in the middle of a forest to try to recover from a violent assault that continues to haunt her.

In the film, “After a violent attack, a woman named Kate (Beth Dover) asks her best friend for help to escape an abusive ex. She has landed a volunteer job as a fire watchman in the mountains of northern Idaho, hoping her peaceful solitude will help heal her trauma. But PTSD and isolation have other plans, and she quickly becomes a struggle to save herself and the neighboring city.
The film was directed by the first-time director Joe Lo Trugliowhich is a television director who directed an episode of Brooklyn Nine Nine. Outpost is also the protagonist Ato Essandoh, Dylan Baker, Becky Ann Baker, Dallas Roberts, Ta’Rea Campbell, Tim NeffAND DR Anderson.
This actually looks like a good intense paranoia thriller and will be released in theaters and on VOD starting May 19, 2023.
