The huge budget for THE FLASH has been revealed

The flash it’s easily one of the biggest and best movies to come out of DC Studios, and it didn’t come cheap. There is a lot of money that goes into making these kinds of movies and with that it cost Warner Bros. $220 million.

The budget was revealed by The flash set designer Paul Austerberry (The Shape of Water, IT: Chapter Two) during an interview with CBC, and said, “This movie is a big deal for Warner Bros.” While The Flash is receiving a lot of hype, whether or not the film will be a hit for the studio has yet to be seen. The movie carries a lot of baggage, but we’ll find out soon enough if audiences will show up to see if the hype is real.

It is explained that The Flash was filmed in “two different parts”. One part was filmed with Miller playing the current Barry Allen and the second part was filmed with Miller playing Barry’s younger self from an alternate timeline.

According to Austerberry, Miller switched roles every few days. Production ran from February 2020 to October 2021 and he added that the actor would be working six days a week with only three days off during the entire shoot, “So, a lot of pressure.” Finally, director Andy Muschietti delivered a fantastic film.
