After a few mediocre seasons, The Real Housewives of Orange County is set to kick off its renaissance era with season 17. roc season 17 will premiere on June 7, 2023. The show was originally rumored to return on March 1, but that date has come and gone. And when Bravo finally unveiled the trailer for the new season on April 25, 2023, they further announced the show’s return date.
The cast
Shannon Beador, heather dubrow, Gina KirschenheiterAND emilie simpsons They all return for Season 17. But her fellow Season 16 co-stars, Noella Bergenger AND jennifer armstrong, they are not. Noella and Jennifer announced their departures from the show in July 2022 after just one season.
Noella said in her statement, “After a wild season of ups and downs, I will not be returning to The Real Housewives of Orange County. I am so thankful to Bravo, Andy Cohen and Evolution Media for giving me this amazing platform to share my story. Thanks to all the fans for all of the love and support during possibly the hardest year of my life. I look forward to brighter skies and look forward to sharing the future.”
Jen said in her testimonial, “I loved talking about being a working mom on Real Housewives of Orange County. I am so grateful to have had the privilege of speaking about my father, my children, and a truly modern relationship on national television. My family and work are the most important aspects of my life, so I’m stepping away from RHOC and focusing on them.”
Obviously, the big news for the cast is this Judge Tamara returns for season 17. Tamra joined the franchise in season 3, but was fired after season 14. After Tamra appeared in season 2 of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, Bravo offered him a full-time spot on the show. Tamra has officially announced her return to roc in the July 20, 2022 episode of See what happens live. In that Two T’s in a pod podcasts with robh alum mellencamp teddy bearTamra hinted at what her catchphrase might be. “Everybody stand up: the judge is back and the drama has begun,” said Tamra.

The person who is making history in the roc season 17 is Taylor Armstrong. Taylor was an original cast member The true housewives of beverly hillsand now that he joined roc, is the first housewife to switch franchises. Taylor will appear as “Friend Of” in the new season. She is becoming close friends with Tamra as they bonded in season two of RIGHT.
The OG of the CO, vicki gunvalsonHe will also appear in season 17, even though he is not holding an orange. Vicki returned to the show as a guest after being fired prior to season 15. Vicki has revealed hollywood lifeIn True landlord podcasts, Pay attention Puh-Lease!, which filmed a “Tres Amigas” reunion with Shannon and Tamra. Vicki also confirmed that she attended at least one of the season 17 cast trips.

as with any landlord season, there were a lot of rumors about what happened when the women filmed season 17. One of the biggest rumors is that Heather’s marriage to Terry Dubrow it was a major storyline due to Terry’s alleged betrayal. There have even been claims that Heather stopped filming the show because of this. But the Dubrows shut down all cheating rumors when they spoke to HL EXCLUSIVELY at BravoCon.
“You know, success breeds contempt,” Heather said, with Terry by her side. “People will always talk. We laugh at the silly things people say about us. But you know, look, things don’t concern us. We have kids, they read stuff. Your friends read stuff. I think people should be careful when talking about other people.”

What the cast said
OR roc The cast provided great insights into Season 17 when they did EXCLUSIVE interviews with hollywood life at BravoCon. Gina told us, “This is the first year where I’m really confident that viewers will respond positively. There is a lot of history. And they’re all really friends.” Emily called the season “messy” as there is a lot of backstory between the cast.
Gina also said new cast member Jennifer Pedranti is “very cool.” Gina added, “We know her naturally, so there’s a lot of overlap with her friends. it’s real help. We’re not forcing friendships, they really exist.”
Heather teased Season 17 and also the “trajectory” of the franchise. “We have some really great new cast members and genuine relationships that I think are going to really resonate,” she told HL. Meanwhile, Tamra gushed about her big return to the show. “I think having just two years off and going back and giving it, you know, not worrying about it was confusing, fun,” she said. “I feel like you’re going to see a lot of old school Tamra on the show this year.”
Shannon opened up about how it feels to have her former best friend Tamra back on the show. “It was a big surprise to me because we were best friends for six years and then we fought for two and a half years and I never thought I’d have the chance to basically be forced to interact with her,” she explained. . “So it was really, really good.”
