AS Karen GillanNebula’s time in the MCU may be coming to an end Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, is ready to follow James Gunn to DC Studios, and has in mind a character that she would like to play in the DC Cinematic Universe… Poison Ivy! She revealed this information in an interview with Total Film, saying:

“I always thought Poison Ivy was really funny. So maybe something like that would be cool. Honestly, if James asked me to play an alien who sits in the background of a shot and doesn’t speak, I’d say yes. [laughs]. Because working with him has been one of the great joys of my career so far.”
I would really like to see Gillan play Poison Ivy together Margot Robbieis Harley Quinn in the DCU! Robbie has been pushing for years to bring Poison Ivy to the DCU! With James Gunn now in office, there’s a good chance that will eventually happen, and it makes perfect sense to cast Gillan in the role!
Gillan goes on to say that the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise is the “gift that keeps on giving,” because she didn’t think she would play Nebula until she has:
“I felt like I signed up for eight days of shooting the first film. And then it gradually just kept getting longer. And here we are, nine or 10 years later.”
Regarding her future as Nebula, Gillan said: “I love this character so much, and I feel like there are endless things that could be done with her. , I’m waiting to see as much as everyone else [laughs].”
