John Krasinsky took the stage during Paramount Pictures’ big CinemaCon presentation to present the first footage from his upcoming film A quiet place prequel movie, A quiet place: first day! The footage offers a terrifying look at how the world fell into chaos when these horrific monstrous alien creatures crash-landed on Earth. The story is set in New York City, the noisiest city in the world.

Krasinski said: “We follow Lupita Nyong’oas he goes through the first horrific moments of the alien invasion in the noisiest city in the world, New York City. In the footage, we see Nyong’o witness the nightmarish arrival of the aliens and roam the streets of Manhattan as the creatures attack anyone who makes a sound. As you might expect, there’s a lot of explosions, screams, and intense footage of people attempting to hide from the monsters, but few survive. Watch the reaction video to the footage here!
The film is by the director of Pig,, Michael Sarnoski. The story is based on an original idea by John Krasinsky. The film is also the protagonist Joseph Quinnthe actor who played Eddie Munson Stranger things, Djimon Hounsou is reprising his role from A Quiet Place Part IIAND Alex Wolf seen in the trailer running in fear,
The studio hopes to build and expand the franchise with it. They want to do these Quiet place movies for years to come. Krasinsky and Emilia Blunt they aren’t supposed to appear in this film, though. This will tell the story of another group of people.
Michael Bay, Andrea Forma AND Brad Fuller will produce through Platinum Dunes alongside Krasinski and Allyson Seegerwho serves as executive producer.
The film is scheduled for release on March 8, 2024.
