Production recently wrapped up with a new crime comedy titled Hollywood hitand the first details about the film’s cast and story have been revealed.

It really looks like a really fun project. Alec Baldwin he stars in the film and is joined by Mickey Rourke, Tara Reid, Nicholas Canon, Paul SloanAND Till Schweiger. The film is directed by first-time director Mike Hatton, from a script he wrote with Sloan.
Hollywood hit follows “a Hollywood power broker (Cannon) trying to get an actor (Baldwin) by telling the story of his client, a film producer (Hatton), along with a ruined movie star friend (Sloan), as they race against time to save their latest production.This comes after the project’s bank account is cleaned out by a thief, leading to an onslaught of star deals, drug lords and death.
It is explained that the film is set in a “meta” version of Hollywood, and the story is inspired by true events. Baldwin, Rourke and Reid play fictional versions of themselves. The film also features a fictional version by producer Asko Akopyan, played by Arman Nshanian.
I like movies set in a meta version of Hollywood, including a couple of my favourites Player AND Swimming with sharks.
News of this film comes after New Mexico dropped criminal charges against Baldwin over the tragic on-set death of DP Halyna Hutchins. That film also recently resumed production.
