The film is described as emotional and heartbreaking as well as the darkest and saddest MCU film ever made. But the film is also said to be hilarious, entertaining, and a “brilliant conclusion to a brilliant trilogy.” There is also a lot of praise of Will Poult’s Adam Warlock, which is great to hear!

Looks like a director James Gunn brought his A-game to this film, and that fans of the Guardians of the Galaxy the franchise must love what it offers and the way it approaches these lovable MCU misfit characters. But it won’t be an easy last trip for us either. This will hurt a little.

Translation: “Despite the humor #GuardiansOfTheGalaxyVol3 is probably the saddest and darkest MCU film and a wonderfully complete conclusion to the Gunn trilogy, where everyone in the fight against an evil (but rather shallow) villain has their big moment again. Get ready handkerchiefs!”

Translation: “It has spectacular action scenes, it’s fun, funny and exciting. It’s a perfect and beautiful closure for its characters and the saga. And it’s the best Marvel movie since Endgame (and Top3 in general).”

In a recent interview with Gunn, he explained that the next chapter of the story “isn’t about saving the universe, it’s about the Guardians saving themselves.” I love it about this story.
