He eventually moved behind the camera, including filming Rocketman, Sherlock Holmes 3, Eddie the Eagleand he also took over directing when Bryan Singer left Bohemian Rhapsody. This film grossed over $900 million and won four Oscars. Singer remains the credited Helmer.
