New GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3 clip mocks Star-Lord dropping the atomic bomb

Marvel Studios has released a clip from James Gunn’S Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3and teases Chris PrattStar-Lord drops the atomic bomb. Yep, unless they actually play it in the movie, this will be the first nuke ever dropped in the MCU. I’ll just let you watch and experience the scene for yourself to see how it all unfolds and what leads up to the atom bomb, but it’s kinda fun!

While I’m incredibly excited about this movie, I’m also incredibly sad that this story is coming to an end. These have been some of my favorite Marvel movies and there is no doubt that fans will miss these characters. But I’m confident that Gunn will deliver a strong, emotional and adventurous conclusion to his story.

In a recent interview with Gunn, he explained that the next chapter of the story “isn’t about saving the universe, it’s about the Guardians saving themselves.” I love it about this story.

At Marvel Studios Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 our beloved band of misfits are settling down on Knowhere. But it’s not long before their lives are turned upside down by echoes of Rocket’s turbulent past. Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him on a perilous mission to save Rocket’s life – a mission which, if not successfully completed, could lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.

Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be released in US theaters on May 5.
