A couple of months ago, Size 20 teased a new season with Critical role‘S Matt Mercer serving as Dungeon Master. Now we have our first trailer and it’s all hype! The new season is Dimension 20: War of the Raven and serves as a dark prequel to the popular one A candy crown season. This should be a very enjoyable ride as Mercer is joined by five players included Brennan Lee Mulligan, Lu Wilson, Zac Oyama, Aabria IyengarAND Anjali Bhimani.

The Ravening War is a dark and twisty prequel to the wildly popular Dimension 20: A Crown of Candy (trailer here) – based on the creative premise of a “Game of Thrones meets Candyland” world. This comes a year after Dimension 20’s Brennan Lee Mulligan hosted the prequel event miniseries, Exandria Unlimited: Calamity, on Critical Role last summer. Now, their roles have reversed: Critical Role’s Mercer hosts the prequel event miniseries for Dimension 20, and Mulligan joins the series as a player at the table.
Fans will be able to watch The War of the Raptors starting May 10 with the first episode and new weekly episodes. I personally recommend subscribing to Dropout, but if you’re still hesitant, the first episode will be available to stream on YouTube starting May 17th. This group will definitely be pure entertainment with no weak links. Can’t wait to watch The War of the Raptors and if you’ll excuse me, I have to go and see A candy crown.
