The short six-part series is set in the expanding world of Walking Dead Universe. Scott M. Gimple – the creative director of AMC TWD extension Universe who co-created the limited series spin-off The Walking Dead: The World Beyond and the six-episode spin-off anthology series Tales of the Living Dead — is overseeing the project for AMC.
More stories from the TWDU follows Tales of the living dead, which premiered last summer on AMC and AMC+ as an episodic anthology consisting of six self-contained episodes set in the walker apocalypse.
Gimple said a potential second season of Stories it would bring back old characters who lived and died Walking Deadrevealing in a recent interview that Stories “it didn’t end with this cliffhanger where you have to go back to that. It’s an anthology show. So, hopefully we can come back to it, but it’s probably going to be as lifesaver as it gets, like how much within all the other shows.”
The focus is now on the three new series that arise from the flagship: The Walking Dead: The Dead City; The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon; AND The Walking Dead: Rick and Michonne.
