Warner Bros. recently announced that it is developing a new adaptation of the series of Harry Potter for Max, with JK Rowling executive production. This series will be a much more faithful version of the classic Harry Potter books than the beloved films.

We now have an announcement teaser to share with you that WB released after the announcement. There is no footage from the series as filming has not yet begun, but it captures the tone of the series that fans have come to expect.
The series will cast young actors in the role of the main characters and the series will be released over the next ten years. This is certainly an ambitious project and JK Rowling said in a statement: “Max’s commitment to preserving the integrity of my books is important to me, and I look forward to being a part of this new adaptation which will allow a degree of depth and detail offered only by a long-running television series.
Casey Bloys, President and CEO, HBO and Max Content said in a statement: “We are delighted to offer the public the opportunity to experience Hogwarts in a whole new way. Harry Potter is a cultural phenomenon and it is clear that there is such an enduring love and thirst for the wizarding world. In partnership with Warner Bros. Television and JK Rowling, this new Max Original series will dive deep into each of the iconic books fans have continued to enjoy all these years.
I have no doubt that the studio will produce a Harry Potter series that fans of the books will enjoy.
