Warner Bros. has officially announced that they are moving forward with a new one Harry Potter series for HBO Max, which is now called Max. The author of the books, JK Rowlingis on board as an executive producer, and it has been explained that the series will be a faithful version of his classic Harry Potter books.

There will be an all-new cast playing the beloved characters, and the show is being billed as “ten-yearly.” CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery David Zaslav he said: “My wife and I, we’ve read (the Harry Potter books) to each of our three children… It’s really heartwarming, for ten years running, people will see Harry Potter on HBO; I mean, it’s really something.

Television and JK Rowling, this new Max Original series will dive deep into each of the iconic books fans have continued to enjoy all these years.

This series project has been something Warner Bros. has been trying to do since Zaslav joined WB. I’m sure they will do a great job of telling this story in series form.
